HMS Swordfish
The SWORDFISH left Fort Blockhouse in Gosport on 7th November, 1940, to take up a position in the Western Approaches off Brest, France, to monitor and attack enemy shipping.

She was never heard of again, and it was assumed that she had been sunk by German destroyers in the Bay of Biscay. This was never confirmed or disproved until 1983, when Martin Woodward discovered the wreck in 150ft of water some miles south of St. Catherine's Point.
